It is very important that the Lender knows exactly your needs, your expectation, and most important how much can you afford. With these ingredients the lender will accommodate the right loan, for your profile. Tom and his team, are just fantastic throughout the pre-approval, house hunting, underwriting, approval, escrow, and closing processes. Tom takes time to educate clients about the mortgage lending application process and beyond. He is actually a very good teacher! He is very knowledgeable and willing to help out as much as he can in order to make the process as easy as possible. Tom is very accessible and quick to return phone calls and emails and to resolve the inevitable small problems that arise with details along the way. After closing multiple transactions with Tom, I am convinced that having an experienced, hard-working, professional, is the key when trying to purchase or refinance a home. The process, with all of the regulations and documentation and contract negotiations, is not fun, but if you work with Tom and do your part with your docs, you'll be in your new home with the least amount of stress and headache possible. Tom is a superstar loan officer. No joke. I'm the third of my siblings to utilize his services in purchasing a home. I used to be a loan officer myself, but never delivered near the quality of service and financing options that Tom was able to provide. My brother and sister were also pleased with his work. Tom goes the extra mile, or five, for that matter. Period. He becomes personally interested in making sure that your loan works out - beyond the commission. He is patient, understanding, and resourceful. His advice was spot on, every time. Because of his expertise we were able to lock ONE DAY before the rates began to climb (2013)! He was tracking the current news on the Fed's decision to pull out of mortgage backed bond purchasing and let me know that we needed to lock if we wanted to avoid what would inevitably be a rate increase. I took his advice, we locked, and we saved. My purchase was an interesting one. I had some odd income that made my purchase a little more complicated than perhaps most. On top of this, I was purchasing from my brother who was moving out of state. His rate lock was entirely dependent upon my rate lock and my closing on time. There were the normal closing conditions along the way, but Tom was able to get me closed in enough time for my brother to close on time too! sigh What a relief that was! If you take the time to listen to Tom's advice and consider some of his suggestions, he WILL find a way to tailor a beneficial financing plan to your specific situation. I am not overstating it when I tell you that, because I chose to work with Tom, he saved me literally, tens of thousands of dollars over the life of my loan by getting me an exceptional interest rate and by making suggestions that saved me an great deal of money up front. If you want someone that will go the extra mile for you (or five, as he did for me), Tom Pessemier is the right choice for you. This is an honest review. The experience I had was THAT good.
