Blake did an amazing job, and I truly appreciate his efforts. However, unexpected issues came up that added a lot of stress, confusion, and frustration ultimately taking away from what should have been an exciting experience. Being cleared to close, only to be told a task that could’ve been handled weeks earlier now needed to be done in 24 hours, felt unreasonable and insensitive. On top of that, seeing the disclosure numbers change by over $600 just a day before closing was shocking. I understand that things happen, and I know this isn't unheard of but as someone buying a home for the third time, I’ve never experienced anything like this. Honestly, I would have preferred more upfront communication. If it wasn’t the right time or something needed to be paid off, I wish that had been made clear from the start instead of getting to closing only to be told, last minute, that I didn’t have the income to support the loan. This is a major life decision, and if Blake hadn’t gone to bat for me and pushed back on my behalf, I’m not sure this would have happened at all. Again a big life decision that was just overshadowed with something that should have been addressed.

Communication was great in hindsight but as us Being first time home buyers we were super anxious and nervous and became a little nerve wrecking in the closiing of the loan process as we are not familiar with the business jargon.
